Hey, there! So, I`m just gonna give a few basics to cramming everything into a suitcase. I`m guessing this is for traveling, so this is all related to my travel experience.
- Obviously, try to make everything fit in place (like a puzzle). Don`t let any larger amounts of space in your suitcase stay empty.
- Fold any clothes as smoothly as possible. Try making them compressed so they fit against the bottom of the suitcase (if the bottom of the suitcase is ridged).
- If you have books, folders, documents, etc, organize them so they aren`t at the top of the luggage. (For explanation, see next step.)
- If there is anything you wish to pack that is relatively soft/puffy (some jackets or a blanket), put it at the top of the stack. This will make it easier to close the suitcase.
- When you close your suitcase, don`t let anything stick out. What I mean by this is, before you zip the suitcase closed, check around it for any belongings sticking out and try to fit them into your suitcase. If you`re rushing, you can`t afford to be slowed down by a piece of fabric stuck in a zipper (or by the zipper even breaking off).
- If you need to pack chargers, you can place the cables into smaller pockets so they lay flat. Any bulky parts of chargers (such as the Apple [block") should be put into soft, moldable areas so that they can just fit in instead of taking up too much space.
- Anything that definitely doesn`t fit, or anything you definitely want to keep a close watch on, should be put into a carry-on side-bag (like a backpack, or purse). This is also good for anything you want easy-access to.
- Finally, if you can get help to close the suitcase, get help. It does really help to have a helping hand when closing an over-stuffed suitcase. If neither of you care, one of you should sit on the edges of the suitcase to help close it down.
Hope these help you out!
