1. First of all, of course, you must have a basic idea: the idea map in your mind, the sketch drawn.

2. If you have a good idea and know the implementation process of your own concept map, you can start the most critical, core, and basic process of leather production: pattern making. This is the standard for subsequent production processes, just like construction drawings for building construction.

3. After counting and checking the paper pattern, start cutting the leather material.

The cutting of the leather material follows the order from the large piece to the small piece, with the largest front panel being opened first.

Cut the back panel.

Cut the side panels. The side stones are symmetrical, but generally only one pattern is made. When cutting, it is divided into front and back.

3. After the cut piece is ready, start the pre-processing of the cut piece. What we do here is to polish, seal and polish the edge first.

The rough edges should be sanded with about 600 grit sandpaper. Generally, the edges that are cut with a knife are relatively straight and smooth, so there is no need to sand (if you want to make round edges, just sand the right-angle edges.), directly wax or milk wax, we choose milk wax here, use Brush the wool ball. Be careful not to make the wool ball too saturated when dipping the milk wax, otherwise it will easily get on the leather surface.

After painting, let it stand for a few minutes, and start polishing with a polishing rod when the edges are 70% dry.

4. Punch
The main part of our model is stitched with thick drawstrings, so we use round punching holes, and there are also standard diamond-cut holes for the leather stickers.

There is no special attention to punching, and it is necessary that the punch is perpendicular to the piece.

5. Sewing

Start sewing with small accessories: mortise lock leather stickers.

Hand-held sewing: the sewing stitch method of seaming used in the hand-held. Add a high-elastic SBR inside.

The sewing of the hijab: also adopts the sewing stitch method of overlocking.

6. Combination

First stitch the front panel, back panel, hijab, and back strap together

Because the position and quantity of all the holes have been calculated on the paper pattern, the joints of the holes of each piece can just be aligned with the hole positions. You only need to sew the wax rope according to a fixed and consistent stitch. After cutting off the thread, use soft transparent quick-drying glue to fix the thread at the starting and narrowing points on both sides to the hidden place.
After several accessories are assembled, the finished product is assembled: the side panels and the front and back panels are combined to sew.
